Murali Nagapuzha, motivated by the French artist Henri Rousseau, paints canvases based on his own experiences and memories of his home state, Kerala. His works can be described as part memory and part nostalgia with a deep understanding of his everyday surrounds. Whilst his art works might celebrate the marvels of Kerala, the vibrancy of colour, the sensuality of expression, the depiction of flora and fauna and his bold technique and style is his very own.
